I have a serious problem on my hands, I think. I have a 2006 A4 2.0T quattro and I have a feeling the clutch may be shot. I was on the highway in 6th gear and went to pass someone, in the same gear, full throttled the car, the RPMs went up, but the car didn't pull very hard. As well, I attempted a somewhat hard pass in 3rd gear, and they car didnt pull hard at all.

The B7 clutch has a self adjusting pressure plate. As the disk wears it changes the finger height to keep the same clamping force. At some point it runs out of adjustment and clamping force will drop off ( like every other clutch). If your setup is close to stock, a stock replacement has a lot of advantages.
